Our Story

Seasons of Transformation

Life shifts in subtle ways throughout the year, but each spring and fall brings a deeper season of transformation— an ideal time to refresh both home and self.

Connie May founded Blue Hydrangea to guide clients through these pivotal seasons, turning spaces into places of calm, clarity, and renewal. Her clients often arrive at moments of deep transformation, seeking more than just a tidy home—they are seeking a sanctuary that reflects who they are becoming.

Philosophy & Approach

Connie specializes in reclaiming space and providing order. “Everything has its place,” she says, a philosophy that underpins every home she transforms. Each project is a journey and as the process unfolds, a profound shift occurs: spaces are cleared, calm is restored, and rooms are arranged to inspire ease, pride, and a quiet joy that is immediately felt. She delights in guiding clients to create homes that feel effortless, intentional, and alive again— or sometimes for the very first time.

Experience that Transforms

With over a decade of experience, Connie first honed her skills running a small cleaning business she had, where she discovered a consistent need among clients: organization. Later, that discovery lead to the truth: organization transforms lives. “Our physical environment is a reflection of our internal environment” she states, “So it works both ways. When our physical world is aligned, the internal world can follow”. Over the years, she has helped countless clients in reclaiming their homes, and their mental clarity, one small step at a time.

Clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. Life moved fast, things accumulated, and they feel burdened by clutter they didn’t realize weighed so heavily. Clearing clutter and designing systems is more than a service, it is a path toward renewed freedom and priorities. By closing out those open tabs, we create space for the things that matter most in life. Life feels lighter. Connie says “It’s moving to see people literally light up by creating a space they feel good in and a home they feel proud of”.

Exclusive Luxury

Due to the seasonal nature of this work, Blue Hydrangea now only accepts a limited number of projects each season. This exclusivity ensures she collaborates with clients who deeply value the experience and will benefit most from the transformation. It also guarantees the luxury of care, attention, and time needed (but often lacking in the world today) allowing each client to receive a seamless and elevated experience. The result is not just a home restored, but a life reimagined.

“I didn’t realize how much the clutter was weighing on me until it was gone. Everything feels easier now, and I actually enjoy being in my space.”
